Who is behind this site?
This initiative has been set up by a group of KNS parents who have been moved to advocate for a positive outcome for the Board elections this year.
The people behind it are:
Michael Harcourt (Secondary school teacher - 2 kids: 1 in year 6 and another just left)
Asha Scott-Morris (Studying at Te Wānanga o Raukawa - 1 kid in year 8)
Christy Harcourt (Lawyer - 3 kids: 1 in each of years 2 and 4 and another starting 2029)
Rowan Youngblood (Primary school teacher - 3 kids: 1 in each of years 7 and 3 and another starting 2027)
Naomi Lane (Property manager - 4 kids: 1 in each of years 6 and 8 and 2 who have already left)
Alana Belin (Lawyer - 2 kids: 1 in each of years 1 and 5)
We all live here in Karori and we all have kids at KNS. Some of us are KNS alumni!

... but there's no connection to the school
It’s important to know straight up that we have no official connection to KNS. We are a group of parents, acting independently.
We are also not running a campaign for any one of the candidates mentioned here. We have considered carefully which candidates align with the values we believe in, and have identified the people who we think would be good choices for the Board. And we want to encourage others to vote the same way.
If you want impartial information about the school election, there's an independent company running the elections process on behalf of the school that might be able to help you. They are called Election Pilot. Or you can contact KNS directly, or there's the school board elections website.
Finally, we suggest you take a look at the disclaimers we've put up on the who we think you vote for page (scroll down to below the bit about the candidates).
